The breathers on this kit are hidden and incorporated into the air cleaning housing itself, so say goodbye to those external hoses and hardware that are always peaking out. To ensure internal engine pressure relief, each breather has a sealing o-ring at the heads and exits at the carburetor or throttle body inlet. Arlen Ness uses only the best material with their products. They use a Synthetic Stainless Jacketed filter that is waterproof and you'll cut down maintenance because they never need to be oiled! These air filters have four layers of surgical grade cotton to promote air flow and the mesh supporting it is made from a durable rust-resistant stainless steal. Each filter is hand poured in a urethane body, unlike many others. Not only is this air filter high quality and worth every penny, but it is designed to be used with the stock outer air cover or one of Arlen Ness's custom outer covers, making the mounting process super easy.
