Description

Darkhorse Motor Company - 34-Tooth Man-O-War Motorsprocket fits '07-'17 Twin Cam Models

Darkhorse Motor Companys' 34-Tooth Man-O-War Motorsprocket is the first performance-engineered primary motor sprocket that acts as a replacement for the OEM Compensator on '07-'16 TwinCam® models. It delivers instant torque response blended with an "engine pulse absorbing cushion drive" primary drive system for Harley-Davidson® TwinCams. When compared to OEM compensating sprockets, the Man-O-War Motorsprocket is longer-lasting and doesn't sacrifice comfort.

Please refer to fitment tab for additional parts needed to install this product on specific models.

Disclaimer: Due to "Factory starting phase assignment" you may experience starting issues combining the Man O-War Motorsprocket with "easy start cams". The ECM looks for crankshaft "deceleration" to determine phase for F & R cylinder timing assignments. Please be aware that we do not recommend using both of these products together as it may very well lead to starting issues.

Fitment

Fits '06*-'17 Dyna®, '07-'17 Softail® (except FXCW, FXCWC, FXSB, FXSBSE and '09 FXSTSSE) and '07-'16 Touring, including '09-'16 Trike models. Kit requires Rotor Assembly P/N 30041-08 on Dyna & Softail '07-'11 models & '07-'10 Touring models. Direct replacement for Original Equipment on '12-'17 Dyna®, Softail® and '11-'16 Touring models.

*Installation on '06 Dyna® models will also require separate purchase of '07-style stator and rotor kit P/N 30041-08.

13 Month Limited Warranty.

I installed this 34-tooth Man-O-War Motorsprocket onto our 2012 Harley Tri Glide myself. Within two weeks we left on a 2000 mile road trip to the Black Hills in South Dakota. We had a great ride! No problems at all.

    Its a fine product but...

My install was on an 06 dyna. I also needed to purchase the kit for the oil scraper to install on my primary cover and machine down the 07 stator I had already bought to upgrade the 06 primary. The cup for the 07 compensator was in the way and the thickness of the stator was 3mm too much for the spacer that came with the darkhorse comp. I called darkhorse and they were very helpful. I do feel like the kit for the oil scraper and the proper stator should be clearly explained whe purchasing kit for older than 2014 bikes. I also bought the newer style bolt from darkhorse to complete my install.

After installing my 124 ci engine, this was a must have component to add the finishing touch on a true performance upgrade.
