Generator is 2-brush type with built-in regulator. Generator is high output type with black finish. Replaces Hitachi generator on 1981-early 1985 XL models.
Replaces Hitachi generator. Order gear kit separately for installation. Item repaired or replaced at manufacturer's descretion.
