V-Twin - 40-0748 - Transmission Mount Oil Filter
Description
This oil filter transmission mount type fits 4-speed models. Includes black bracket and chrome filter.
Filter is specifically for use with late Big Twin swingarm frames with forward mounted master cylinders. Filter is not for use with mid controls. *NOTE: For 1958-1984 FL swingarm installation. Space the oil filter casting from the black bracket with 5/16" x 5/8" x 1/4" spacers, which will allow the lines to go directly to the oil pump. *NOTE: For use with over the transmission rear pipe on Panhead or Shovelhead 4 speed models in a swingarm frame.
