Factory rear fender brace widths. There are 3 different widths used throughout the year of 1936-1950. In general, match to the Spring Fork front fender brace width. 5/8" wide for years 1936-1941 3/4" wide for years 1951-1957 7/8" wide for years 1942-1950 Replacement fenders available from H-D dealers have 3/4" braces.
