Zipper’s makes it easy to convert your 2000–2005 Dyna from belt to chain with this all-in-one performance kit. Designed for strength, reliability, and street-ready durability, it’s a solid upgrade for riders looking to get more out of their drivetrain.

The kit includes a Gold RK Pro O-Ring chain (ideal for street use), a front sprocket, and a gloss black powdercoated rear sprocket and spacer for a clean, finished look. ARP sprocket mounting hardware is included to ensure everything stays locked in and ready to rip.

Sprockets:

Rear Sprocket (Zipper’s 51T)

• Made from hardened 1/4" thick steel
• Flat style design
• Powdercoated gloss black for durability and aesthetics

Front Sprocket (PBI 23T)

• CNC-machined from premium 8620 nickel chromoly steel
• Case-hardened and finished with electroless nickel plating for corrosion resistance, wear protection, and lubricity
• Made in the USA

Final Drive Ratio:

• The stock final drive ratio on a early Dyna (32T front / 70T rear) is 2.19:1
• This chain conversion setup (23T front / 51T rear) gives you a 2.22:1 ratio

While the difference is small, it does have a noticeable effect on how the bike rides:

• More torque at the rear wheel
• Snappier acceleration, especially off the line
• Slightly higher RPMs at highway speeds (but not enough to feel buzzy or over-revved)
• Improved throttle response for around-town and aggressive riding

In short, this setup adds a bit more punch without sacrificing comfort on longer rides.
