Replica gas tank features an aircraft filler neck, and has a left side petcock opening. The tank has a fuel capacity of 3.5 gallons, and is for carburetor type models.
Order aircraft cap separately. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. The tank requires sanding and primer before painting. Do not gring or sand the seams or joints. Check the petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer.
