This is a performance air filter upgrade for factory HD Ventilator® oval air cleaners and M8 "special" models equipped with factory oval air cleaners. It will fit Oval Screaming Eagle® Ventilator air cleaners and M8 Special/ST models equipped with factory oval air cleaners. The increased filter height is specifically designed to heighten airflow whilst fitting into the factory backing plate and accepting the factory outer cover. There's over 22% more air filter surface area here than on filters found in factory oval air cleaners; each filter's high-flow performance filter media also dramatically increases airflow. This air filter has been Dyna tested and demonstrated up to a 3hp increase prior to installing the upgrade filter on factory displacement M8 engines. It has also demonstrated a 5hp gain for 124" big bore M8 engines. All filters are constructed from high-flow black pre-oiled cotton media wrapped in a stainless-steel jacket for the utmost airflow with a one-of-a-kind look! Includes internal spacers and all necessary components for a quick and easy installation.
