This is a 6-speed gear set (3.24:1 1st gear/.86:1 6th gear) with a 28-tooth motor sprocket, a longer primary chain, an adjusting shoe, a fixed spindle-shift drum and an anti-overshaft ratchet shift pawl assembly. It also features a bearing door that is constructed from 6061-T6 Aluminum, and has wider bearings as well as bearing retainer plates as opposed to the stock style snap rings. The gearsets are built from 8620 steel; the gears are cut prior to heat-treating then precision grounded with a diamond-coated tooling for quieter operation.
