V-Twin Bobbed 2.3 Gallon Gas Tank - fits '04-'06 Harley XL Sportster Models

Bobbed gas tank accepts a left side petcock and has a fuel capacity of 2.3 gallons. Tank includes mounting hardware. Features a raw finish without a gas cap. Tank is for Carb use only.

• Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting.
• Do not grind or sand the seams or joints.
• Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion.
• Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed.
• Petcock fitting should be marked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock.
• Relocation of the ignition coil may be required on some models, to do so order motor mount separately.
