VP Customs Rides the 2026 Deadbeat Retreat

Every year the Retreat gets filmed from about forty different angles, and every year a couple of those cuts are worth sitting down for. VP Customs made the haul up from Poughkeepsie for the 2026 Deadbeat Retreat and came back with one of the good ones.

It is the whole weekend in one video — bike show, pool party, the group ride, the burnouts, and a plot twist at the end involving a tow truck. Press play.

VP put it best in the video description: there is something for everyone at this event. Their cut hits pretty much all of it.

The custom bike show. The field fills up with everything from patina'd rigids to fresh baggers, and the judging is about as informal as it gets. If you want a closer look at the motors that rolled in, we put nineteen of them in a separate photo dump.

The chopper pool party. Exactly what it sounds like, and exactly as questionable a decision as it sounds.

Biker games and non-biker games. Slow races, weenie bites and the rest of the nonsense.

The group ride. A big one, out through the back roads and back again.

Burnouts. Obviously.

And the tow. The trip home did not go entirely to plan. We will let VP tell that part.

Who Is VP Customs?

VP Customs is a rider-run YouTube channel out of Poughkeepsie, New York, built on three things they put right at the top of every description: custom builds, real rides, and doing it themselves.
