Boston to Brooklyn Run
Saturday September 20, 2014 Deadbeat Customs will be hosting the first Boston to Brooklyn Motorcycle Run. This ride is an open invitation to anyone in the New England area to join us as we ride to Brooklyn for the 11th Annual Indian Larry Grease Monkey Block Party.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
The run will start in Wakefield, Ma at the Honey Dew Donuts right off of i95 and will contain two stops that will act as "meeting points" for anyone else that would like to meet up along the way. The two stops are the Charlton, MA Service Plaza, and the Milford, CT Service Plaza. Since Brooklyn is about four hours from Boston the run will contain mostly all highway....we have a block party to get to.
TIME:
Departure
We will be departing the Honey Dew Donuts around 7:30 a.m.
(they open at 7a.m. this gives everyone a chance to get a cup of joe)
First Stop
The Charlton, MA Service Plaza is approx. 55 miles from Honey Dew Donuts, we will be stopping there around 8:30 - 9a.m.
At both stops everyone will have time to get fuel and piss or whatever they need to do (approx 20 minute stops).
Second Stop:
The second stop is the Milford, CT Southbound Service Plaza, this stop is approx. 109 miles from the first service plaza stop or approx. 1.5 hours. If you will be meeting us there look for our arrival around 10:30 give or take a few minutes for traffic.
The Milford Service Plaza to Indian Larry Motorcycles is 71.4 miles or approx. 1.5 hours. Once we arrive at the event you are on your own to do whatever it is you please.
Be self sufficent on the ride, bring directions if you lose the group, spare fuel if you can't make it between stops, tools if you think you'll break down...etc.
Follow @deadbeatcustoms on Instagram or Facebook and use #bostontobrooklyn to follow the run. We will be posting on here along the way for you guys that will be meeting up to better follow our stopping points.
Cheers
-Steve
