Description

Bung King - Passenger Peg Crash Bar Late Dyna '06-Up

Bung King's passenger peg crash bar works great in conjunction with their Highway Peg Crash Bar. This fully TIG welded assembly takes place of your standard passenger pegs on 06 and up Dyna's. The location and width is very similar to the stock passenger pegs so that can be used just as they were originally intended. They also bolt up to the same locations your passenger pegs do, however they have a lower bracket that helps support the crash bar from any up and down movement, thus making it very rigid. The ends of the bar feature replaceable Delrin pucks to keep the bike slipping over the pavement as apposed to taking hold of it. When this crash bar is used along side their front crash bar it makes it very hard to get the bike to roll over completely to contact the handlebars and tank. In fact instead of falling completely over it tends to keep the bike propped up at a steep angle, making it great for practicing lower speed stunts without risk of damage to the bike. Allow 2 weeks for delivery.

 Features:

  • Made of Mild Steel
  • Fully TIG Welded
  • Powder Coated gloss black
  • Sold as a kit
  • The main tube on the crashbar is 1-1/4" in dia

Please Note: This item is made to order, please allow 2 weeks for production.

Fitment

  • Fits 06 and up Dyna's
  • For Lowrider S Models this part would require the use of an aftermarket exhaust as the stock rear pipe mount would interfere with the crashbar.
  •  Fitment Note: You can take a measurement to double check the clearance.  If you place a straight edge on the top surface of the swing arm where the passenger pegs mount.  So that the straight edge is parallel with the axle and overhangs the pipe.  You would need to see a gap of 1-1/8" of clearance or more between the bottom of your straight edge and the top surface of the pipe for proper clearance.

Install was tricky the support bar had to be removed and goes under the frame not over the fender as it appears. Took a bit to figure that out then ot went on easy. Still not sure on the look overall. Have the font ones and love them. Back ones look like they are out a little further than needed. Looks like training wheels. For now leaving on, may go back to register pegs and leave the front on down the road.
