Simpson Outlaw Bandit Helmet - DOT Approved (Choose Color)

I have been riding with the Simpson Outlaw Bandit Helmet for 3 months now. I was drawn by the aggressive look and simple design, but the fit is what is most important. I was fortunate to have an (average oval) Simpson head, and it fits me perfectly. I have worn it for a few all-day rides without complaints. The venting appears minimal, but actually works quite well. If I could change one thing about the Outlaw Bandit, I would add more visor positions. There are only three, full open, full closed, and 1/2 way. It is not a perfect 5 star, but I give it a solid 4+ stars.

Pros: looks great, fits great and is probably safe. Cons: VERY loud!! not water tight. And expensive Not only do you get the normal wind noise, similar to most helmets, but Simpson somehow figured out how to get extra wind noise including a very loud whistle that will surely drive you crazy. I have to wear earplugs and I still get wind in my eyes. Plus this fucker was over $500. My advice, get a biltwell: lane splitter.

Got a Simpson Outlaw helmet for my boyfriend for Christmas and he was so excited about receiving it. He threw it on and his riding jacket and went for a ride…even though it was 35 degrees!
