Spotlight - Junior Burke of Burke's V-Twin
We met Junior back at The Eazy Times Chopper Show outside of Ralph's Rock Diner in Worcester, MA back in the 2022 season. We could immediately tell that Junior was different than your average Harley builder. We originally shot one of his bikes for our event coverage in Worcester, but we decided that Junior deserved his own Spotlight!
The off-season can be tough for many motorcycle enthusiasts to get through. We were getting the bug to get connected back to the bike community again in person. After seeing a post about Junior's latest finished project a custom '48 FL, we knew we had to check out out in person.
Junior gave us a tour of his shop and some of his personal history with motorcycling. After admiring his craftsmanship, we weren't surprised to find out that he is a certified Master Harley Technician and has worked on bikes across the country from Illinois to Florida.
What we loved about Burke's creations, is his love for that OEM Harley look. "OEM plus" he calls it. The red '48 is a perfect expression of that OEM+ look hes referring to! We initially went to check out his red "Pan-Shovel" but we couldn't help get the scoop on an FXR he had flamed with a one-of-a-kind paint job!
